# Cashback

Every trading fee on onchain.cc pays you back. A percentage of every fee you pay — on swaps, Trenches, Spot, Perps, and Predictions — accrues as **USDC cashback**, set by your [Colosseum rank](/onchain-docs/colosseum/ranks.md) and claimable straight to your wallet.

## Your rate

Cashback rates climb with rank:

| Rank      | Cashback rate |
| --------- | ------------- |
| Recruit   | 25%           |
| Warrior   | 30%           |
| Gladiator | 35%           |
| Champion  | 40%           |
| Warlord   | 45%           |
| Immortal  | 50%           |

From your very first trade, a quarter of every fee comes back. At Immortal, half. Your current rate is always shown on the Colosseum dashboard, and quests can grant **temporary cashback boosts** on top.

Two standing bonuses worth knowing:

* **OG traders** — accounts that were active before the September 2026 restructure are automatically grandfathered onto a better ladder that preserves their old net rates. Nothing to claim or opt into.
* **Immortal at the Season 2 open** — anyone who held Immortal when Season 2 launched earns a **permanent +2%** on their cashback rate, forever, stacking on whatever rank they hold later.

## How it accrues

* Cashback is calculated **per trade, on the fee you actually paid** — never an estimate.
* It lands in the **Cashback panel** in the terminal, live: you'll see the tick come in with each fill. Pin the panel to a corner or pop it out to watch it run.
* Accruals collect into **weekly buckets** (Monday to Sunday, UTC).

## Claiming

* Hit **Claim** (or **Claim all**) in the Cashback panel — payouts settle **on-chain in seconds**, as USDC.
* **Claiming opens at $1.** Below that, your balance simply keeps growing until you cross it.
* Claims always pay your **oldest buckets first**.

**Cashback expires — claim it.** Each weekly bucket stays claimable for a limited window after its week closes: **14 days** at Recruit through Champion, **30 days** at Warlord and Immortal. After that, the unclaimed balance is gone. The window is locked in when you earn it — ranking down later never shortens cashback you've already accrued — but the clock always runs. Make claiming part of your weekly routine.

## Staying active

Cashback rewards active traders: after **60 days without a trade**, accrual pauses at 0%. It resumes on your next trade — the comeback trade itself doesn't earn, everything after it does. Your rank and any grandfathered status are untouched either way.
